I have no idea what this journal will be about! All I can really say is that I used to have a live journal account YEARS ago but got a bit vored with it and thought it was a bit pointless so I stopped using it. Then recently I was reminded of something I wrote on there so thought I'd log back on and have a look at some of the stuff I wrote all that time ago...And realised I'd forgotten how much fun it was and how even those little one line posts that I thought were totally pointless and boring, actually were revealing little bite sized revelations of my life...Or, just boring, time wasting musing only amusing to myself 5 years later...Either way, I fancied another go...so ta da! Laura's livejournal reborn 5 years on! Hopefully more grown up and interesting than last time...I'll try not to write long, ranting posts about how I hate my parents and life is sooo unfair!

Some other stuff about me:

1. I sing...I take lessons weekley and perform as often as possible, its my ultimate dream to go pro.

2. I love theatre...musical theatre especially. When I say I want to 'go pro' with my singing...I mean in musical theatre!

3. If I can't work on stage and get paid I want to build a career behind scenes...One way or the other I'm going to have a career in the theatre. I can currently be seen floundring at the bottom of the career ladder at my local theatre!

4. I'm currenty desperately looking for a new job...preferably in theatre marketing. Anyone know anything going?

5. My laptop is about 1000 years old and very, very slow!

6. I live with two friends in a rather lovely...if usually untidy flat. I live the other side of town to my parents so they're still quite handy for a 'proper meal' once a week!

7. I have a buring desire to spend as much of my time as possible in New York City. But I have no money so may not get out there this year. One day I will move there!

8. Recently having read 'Secret Diary of a London Call Girl' I probably have a hidden belief that I'm going to fill this journal with facinating and exciting, witty tales of my life. Unfortunatley, I don't really have the life to match. Maybe it will give me reason to get out more!

9. I have a degree in English and American Literature. What a depressingly miserable waste of three years of my life. (Not the degree itself...Although the idea that any degree opens 'thousands of doors' is a myth! But if I did it again I'd choose a differnt subject - i.e. drama/theatre studies!)

10. I can't dance, I sing, I act...dance is a problem. I take dance class but have all the grace and co-ordination of a bloated hippo.
